This was hard for me, as I just don't do a lot of "different" folded items. I like them, just that whenever I sit down to make something I usually need to finish it quickly and so I opt to keep it simply folded.
This time I decided to make something new. I created a card that unfolds to be a mint holder. I call it a Treat Dish Card and I will get the template made up and release it later this month for anyone to get. You could probably put anything in it, like maybe mini desk kit items or clips. The space that holds the mints is 2" deep and 4-1/4" wide, and the front flap is 1" high. But once it is folded up, it is just an A2 size card and fits in a regular envelope.
In the template file that will be for sale, I created pinking edges (used on my project below), scallop edges and straight edges. I also created 4.25" square size template that folds out with the same fold out dish size. SVG files, SCAL files, and PDF printable sheets will all be included.
The images I used are from the Peppermint digi image set. I used the white filled PNG's and overlapped them in a Word document.as a collage. I used the Minty paper pack for the patterned paper accents. The bakers twine was perfect for securing the flaps down on the card, as well as securing the "dish" together when it is opened.
