I placed the pond image into my Word document first and then added the individual cattail PNG images over top. I made some a bit smaller and then mirrored another to make a variety of them clumped together. I wanted this scene to look like the cattails were in the forefront and the pond was behind them.
I started watercoloring the water areas first, then colored the grass, then the cattails in front left, and then the red/orange flowers, rocks and greenery inside of pond.
For the grassy shaped corner accents, I cut them from the Sure cuts a lot program on the cricut expression. I cut one set of the grassy corners at 100% size and scaled one set of them by 80% so that I could layer them. I sponged darker green ink on the larger corners underneath.

Laurie this is fabulous - I Love the whole card, colors and corner details. But the best is the cattails in the foreground - lovely scene and so well composed.
