Oldie But Goodie Blog Hop

Pallets and Peppermints

I have a couple new products that didn't release on December 1  due to time constraints and a birthday.

About the first new product. I have this friend.  She "repurposes" stuff.  She's really creative.  I like all her ideas.  A great card maker, craft altering expert, and wood worker.  I like that she can work a circular saw and all kinds of other "manly" tools.  Her birthday is this week and I have been thinking for a couple weeks now on WHAT image I was going to use for her birthday card.  I just couldn't decide and I knew it had to be perfect.
She has been collecting wooden pallets for a year now.... she's driving by homes and if they had them out for trash pickup, or in back of stores by dumpsters... she'd stop and ask if she could have them.  She recently had collected 23 pallets in her garage!
I finally decided that since she had pallets coming out of her ears, overflowing into her garage, she had to have some on a card too.

WOOD PALLETS

I drew this stack of pallets just for her card with the sentiment "Hope your day is pallets of fun".  I am not sure if this set will ever apply to anyone else, but since I had to get the set ready to use for her card, I decided to put it up for sale as well.  You just never know, maybe someone else out there has a pallet frenzy going on in their garage, and maybe they know a crafter who will want to color these babies up for a fun card.

Is it really December already!?

WOw, I can't believe it is December already!
We've all been busier lately with all the holiday preparations.  But today, we have 5 new releases and 3 colorized older products in our new release section today!

VINTAGE ORNAMENT - I looked at an ornament on my tree to draw this.  Somebody gave me a set of 2 of these really vintagey looking ornaments almost 10 years ago.  They are my favorite ornaments on my whole tree. I decided to draw it up and thought this image would make such pretty last minute cards or place cards.

VINTAGE BEAR - Maw-ma's old teddy bear. We weren't allowed to touch him, only to look at him.  Now we can color him and make him into a card!

OLD STOVE - As a child, my dad installed one of these in our living room for extra heat in the winter.  We loved it!

COLOR ASIAN GARDEN - Some people have been waiting a long time for this one.  I colorized in photoshop, and all the detail took forever!  Two "seasons" are available in color.
