How do we choose our Top Notch Artists? We keep a keen eye on our challenge participants and the members of our CDAC Doodle Pantry Group, and we hand select artists whom have shown us some fabulous work using Doodle Pantry images.
How often will we be selecting Top Notch Artists? Twice each month! All Top Notch artists are notified by email approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the posting date.
What does the Top notch Artist receive? The selected artist receives ONE Doodle Pantry product of their choice free, has a few of their projects using Doodle Pantry images displayed on this blog, and gets to display the badge below in their blog sidebar.

I finally got to color the Fancy Shoe image. I originally envisioned this shoe in peach and brown colors. This is a birthday card for my mom this year. I used Viva pearl pen on the pearls in the image, and then used some pearls and a button in the flower center.
I printed on watercolor paper and watercolored with Tombow markers and a waterbrush.
Here's a close up, but not sure if it shows the shimmer on the shoe pearls. They look really nice in person.
