Hello!
Wow, it's been a long time since I got to sit down and create something AND post about it!
I made a set of 12 days of Christmas ornaments for the kids to hang on the tree, using the 12 days of Christmas color set HERE. They get to hang one per day until Christmas Eve, as sort of a countdown to Christmas. They think it is fun, and helps to keep them from asking a million times "How many more days until Christmas?", LOL!
(Bwaaahahaha! I just now noticed in the photo above, there is a cardinal ornament hanging hind-ways facing the camera above the partridge ornament... whoops! Didn't mean to abuse the cardinal ornament! LOL)
Here's the whole set.
I printed the 12 days images at about 7/8" to 1" tall, with the PNG circular sentiments at about 1-1/4" size over each corresponding image. I punched them out with a 1-3/8" circle.
In coordinating colors of CS, I punched the Su scallop circle punch for the backs.
For the front frames, I punched a 1-3/8" circle and then punched the scallop circle centered over it to create the frame.
Before laying the image circle down on the scallop circle back, I adhered the cord loop with beads hanging from the bottom and the circle went overtop to hold it all together.
Then I used dimensionals to put the frame overtop.
I used the beads to act as "anchors" to help the ornaments hang right. Without the "weights", they would twist and turn and hang sideways and stick out straight because they were so light.
I added pearls and gems on the frames and then stickles on the images for some shiny accenting.
