Mother's Day cards colored with Copics

Here are 2 mother's day cards using the Gazania image and the sentiment is from Tulip Wreath.
Hopefully to inspire you to get crafty!

I have been continuing trying my hand at the copic coloring.  I certainly still need more practice.  I'll be searching for some official online videos for more details on techniques, but I like how these turned out even without the expert knowledge.
I kept the card designs simple since there was so much going on in the floral images.

Here's the first one in purples.
Here's the second one in oranges.

Purple Card Supplies:
Printed outline Images: Gazania and sentiment from Tulip Wreath
Cardstock and papers:  XpressIt copic paper, PTI plum, PTI Guide Lines
Copic Markers: YG41, G07, G28, 0, Y38, YR04, E29, V12, V06, V09, BV08
Accents and tools: Tiny silver brads, PTI lavender ribbon, SU button, linen thread, sewing machine

Orange Card Supplies:
Printed outline Images: Gazania and sentiment from Tulip Wreath
Cardstock and papers:  XpressIt copic paper, PTI canyon clay, PTI Autumn abundance
Copic Markers: YG41, G07, G28, 0, Y21, Y38, YR04, YR07, E29, E35, E37
Accents and tools: Tiny silver brads, PTI harvest ribbon, SU button, linen thread, sewing machine

  5. Laurie you don't need anymore help, lol! I've been colouring with copics for almost a year and I still don't come close to your shading. They are gorgeous!
