Doodle Pantry sponsored a swap over at CDAC back in February where the signups could pick from 4 different small projects.   I decided to also sign up for the swap.
That was my first swap, and it was fun to see what everyone made.   Now I have a few little things I can give to my secret sister and still be able to keep me a secret!

I created this card for us to be inspired.  I am using the newly released grave image from the He Is Risen digital set. Sentiment from the same set.

I colored the yellow sunbeams first and allowed those to dry completely before I colored the rest of the image. I added the other colors away from the sunbeams and blended with the waterbrush starting at the color and moving toward the sunbeams and then directly over the ends of the sunbeams.  If you are attempting this, it does take some practice.
I hand drew all the stitches, as I was creating late at night and didn't want to turn on the sewing machine.

We keep a keen eye on our challenge participants and the members of our CDAC Doodle Pantry Group, and we hand select artists whom have shown us some fabulous work using Doodle Pantry images.

How often wll we be selecting Top Notch Artists?

Twice each month!  All Top Notch artists are notified by email approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the posting date.

What does the Top notch Artist receive?

The selected artist receives ONE Doodle Pantry product of their choice free, has a few of their projects using Doodle Pantry images displayed on this blog, and gets to display the badge below in their blog sidebar.
