MMSC86 - Midnight Madness Sponsorship

I am SO excited that we were able to get in to sponsor Midnight Madness Challenges this year!  I just LOVE Priscilla's sketches, don't you?  I really like how she gives us a fancy style or a simpler sketch to use. Really opens it up for options.
HERE IS THE SKETCH

Here is what I made using Balloon Ants:
And the color theme works for the Double Delight color challenge!  Colors are chocolate, light green, and two shades of pink.
I used a tiny bit of the green to shadow around the balloon ants.

SUPPLIES:
  • IMAGE: Balloon Ants
  • CS/PAPER: 90 lb. watercolor paper, earlly espresso, pink pirouette, CDS sweet cheeks, My minds eye Bella bella and Penny lane DP
  • INK: printer, white gel pen, Tombow markers 772, 192, 703, 879
  • ACCENTS/TOOLS: waterbrush, border punch, sewing machine, CDS sweet cheeks ribbon, pink gingham ribbon, 1/8" chocolate satin, pearls, foam pop dots, glue dots
...........................................................................................
Thank you so much for visiting us today!  I hope you got some inspiration from the MMSC86 sketch and hope you will play with Midnight Madness Challenge and/or Double Delight Challenge this week!

Let's help Katie!

~~~this is a special post~~~
HELP FOR KATIE
Katie Emerson Renz married to Kevin with 3 young boys.   They had some devastating news just before Christmas that has changed everything.
Katie has been diagnosed with stage 4 Stomach Cancer and is currently undergoing her only option which is Chemotherapy.  Katie is updating her blog with her experiences, if you want to check it out.
Jak Heath is a crafting friend to Katie and has organized this special digi benefit to help raise money for Katie's Treatment and to give her lovely boys a treat too.   For a donation of 15 pounds (approx $23) you will be given a HUGE amount of digi's... WORTH WAY MORE than the donation, you will soon see. CHECK THEM OUT ON JAK's BLOG HERE.
Below is the set that Doodle Pantry has donated to the fundraising benefit.
Here's something I made using the Bunny Friends set, which is the set that Doodle Pantry donated, shown in one top left thumbnail above.
I printed the bunny image on regular smooth white cardstock, using the highest quality "photo" setting to print it out.
I used a pinking circle die and cut it in half and then lined up the two sides behind the oval and trimmed where they met.  Close enough to a pinking oval.
SUPPLIES:
  • IMAGES: Bunny Friends Digital set SPL HELP FOR KATIE CAUSE
  • CS/PAPER: white, dusty durango, CDS hot cocoa, Bo Bunny Olivia nectar DP, My minds eye Fine & dandy DP
  • INK: printer
  • ACCENTS/TOOLS: circle punch, star punches, pinking circles, silver brads in 2 sizes, CDS melon spice ribbon, sewing machine, foam pop dots
CES Challenge Sponsorship
Hello!  Today we are sponsoring CES Challenge Blog with the theme "All creatures great and small".  Pretty much any kind of animal.
There are several of the Doodle Pantry DT who have participated in this challenge, you can check them out above, click the tab "Design Team".
Below is what I created.  I used the new set Critter Tops COLOR.  I used the ants, turtle and bunny to make my daughters Sunday School valentines.   (The Critter tops are also sold separately for those who just want one character.)
Just print them, cut them out.  I placed the turtles on oval punchouts and then that on top of candies.  On the scallop heart images, I cut them out and then punched a hole in the center and used glue dots to secure it to the side of the 1-1/2" square fold up box.
Stuff the boxes with candy and I'm all set!
SUPPLIES:  Cardstock, printer, punches, scissors, glue dots (and a little optional patterned paper to line the inside of boxes)
..................................................
Thanks for visiting today!  I hope you were inspired to create and I hope you can play along at CES Challenge this week!
